Siren's Cherry Bomb and Colibri twin-fin models were designed from the outset to meld the paddle-ability and wave catching prowess of a longer board with the speedy maneuverability that you can only find in a small form factor. At sub 6' lengths, the weight, flex and durability factors become even more critical design components. The best part is that the boards are completely custom built, so performance is tailored and personal. The Cherry Bomb is your go-to shortboard for shoulder-high and under surf; the Colibri's narrower tail make it the call for bigger surf. The cherry (Bomb) on the sundae is that this level of durability is unheard of in a non-molded board, but now readily available.
Peter Mendia is a professional Billabong rider. Additionally, he is sponsored by Proctor Surfboards, Zippo, Island Water Sports (Lake Worth, FL), Moana Surf Company, Ted Shreds, and Freak Traction. Peter currently lives in Palm Beach, Florida and is a free surfer. When Peter is home he can often be found spending time with his wife and two children.
Together with Share the Stoke Foundation Peter will be making a difference for children globally. His partnership with this foundation will allow him to donate boards around the world to kids in coastal communities who would not have an opportunity to surf otherwise. His commitment to his family, to the ocean, and to surfing makes him a perfect match for Share the Stoke Foundation.
