PADDLE OUT
Best spot to paddle out is next to the pier, because
the current is pushing out there.
BE
AWARE OF THE DANGERS
Although the current next to the pier can help, it can also be your
worst enemy. To far in and you'll get sucked right under the pier...
scary - but everyone should experience
it once.

LOCAL
VIBE
Macho vibe. . Some think they belong to an imaginary surf hierarchy.
Plus, this is also where the Surfline cam is set-up, so even on
small days everyone is there.
AVERAGE
WAVE HEIGHT
Anywhere from 2' to double-overhead. Everyday is different and I
never surfed the same swell twice in NJ.
BEST SEASON
Wintertime when you get ice cream headaches with every duck dive.
WHY
WE LOVE CASINO PIER
I love the South side of the Pier on NE swells. Bowling lefts all
day long!
Its NJ. . .we're all about sand-bar closeouts. Paddle in, charge
hard and take a beating!
