What inspires you to shoot?
I am inspired by shooting big surf and the beauty of surfers doing
radical manuevers on the waves. My love for surfing started back
in the 60's when I use to surf Queens, Tonggs, and North Shore.
How did you get into photography?
I got started in photography when I got my first computer about
10 years ago. It began as a hobby taking pictures of family gatherings,
hiking and trips. I love surfing and surf photography is one of
my passions. I'm always at the beach with the big surf.
Photos of nature and
scenery, as well as photo art design, are some of my other specialties.
What is your favorite subject to shoot and why?
There are several subjects I like to shoot. I like to capture big
wave action over 30 ft, and to shoot custom shots such as speed
blur when the surfer is focused and background has a speed blur
effect. I like to challenge myself in doing

custom shots.
Why should someone consider you when choosing a private surf photoshoot?
If any surfer wants a private moment of them at their favorite surfing
spot or memorable shots of family visiting the Hawaiian Islands
and they want a dedicated photoshoot at reasonable rates... we are
available!
